New Delhi: Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee today visited Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS here following a severe heart attack.

She spent about ten minutes with the family of the minister and enquired about his health, AIIMS Medical Superintendent D K Sharma said.

The 62-year-old leader was admitted to the hospital late Monday night with complaints of severe breathlessness and lung congestion.

Other parliamentarians, including Rahul Gandhi, Priya Dutt and Pawan Kumar Bansal, also visited the minister during the day.
