New Delhi: The attacks on some north Indians in Mumbai by activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena led to demands in the Lok Sabha for the arrest of its chief Raj Thackeray on charges of "treason".
Soon after the House met after an adjournment over the issue, RJD members, including Ram Kripal Yadav and Vijay Krishna, were seen making the demand vociferously.
Members of the Samajwadi Party and those of the BSP also demanded action against activists of the Shiv Sena and MNS, who allegedly beat up north Indians appearing for a Railway Recruitment Board examination in Mumbai. Source : PTI
