Nitish for speedy trial of MNS attackers
Wednesday, October 29, 2008 21:05 [IST]

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today demanded swift arrest of perpetrators of attackers on North Indians in Maharashtra and speedy trial on the charge of sedition.

The constitution guarantees the citizens the right to free movement in any part of the country. The inflammatory speeches by Maharashtra Navanirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray inciting violence against north Indians, including Biharis, is violative of the constitutional provision and merits their trial for sedition, he told reporters here.
