Kidnapped Chinese oil worker found alive in Sudan

Khartoum: Sudanese armed forces have found alive a Chinese national who was among the nine oil workers kidnapped by a militia group, the Chinese embassy said Friday.

The Chinese worker was the fourth to be found alive by the army.

Unknown armed men Oct 18 kidnapped nine Chinese oil workers in southwestern Sudan and killed five of them. Two kidnapped workers went missing and two had escaped.

Earlier, Sudanese armed forces personnel traced three of them and brought them to the capital.
