Puducherry: Former PWD and AGriculture Minister of Puducherry and freedom fighter K R Subramania Padayachi (83) died at a private nursing home in Cuddalore yesterday after brief illness, family sources said.

He is survived by wife, daughter and six sons. He was elected from Kuruvinatham constitutency to the territorial Assembly in the 1960s.
