Gorakhpur (UP): AIR today broadcasted its first Bhojpuri bulletin at 5:35 pm Thursday evening.
This is the first-ever venture of AIR's news services division in Bhojpuri. The five-minute daily bulletin will be relayed by the AIR stations of Obra and Varanasi.
Addressing the inaugural function at AIR Varanasi, Director General (NEWS) P K Bandyopadhyay said the Bhojpuri Bulletin has been started on popular demand.
A newsreel programme would soon be introduced in Bhojpuri from AIR Gorakhpur, CEO of Prasar Bharti BS Lali said.
