Islamabad: Two security personnel were killed and 11 others injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a building occupied by security forces in Pakistan's troubled north-western Swat valley today.
The building, located near the police headquarters in Mingora city and occupied by the para-military Chitral Scouts, collapsed due to the blast.
Officials told TV channels that two personnel have died and 11 others injured in the attack.
Security personnel opened fire following the attack, they said, adding no group has so far claimed responsibility.
The Pakistan army has been conducting a major crackdown on the local Taliban in the Swat district of the north-west frontier province.
