MP secretariat has turned into a corruption centre
Friday, November 07, 2008 08:18 [IST]

Guna (MP): Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh today said that the Madhya Pradesh State Secretariat has turned into a commercial centre with ministers and bureaucrats facing several charges of corruption.

Addressing his first election meeting after filing of nomination papers by Congress candidates from Guna district, Singh said, under the BJP s five-year rule ministers and their followers have become millionaires at the cost of the people.

Singh in a sarcastic remark said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was right in saying what BJP had achieved in the last five years, Congress had not done so in 50 years.

Singh said he was confident that the Congress would sweep the Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh.
