Three killed as car catches fire in Delhi

New Delhi: Three people were charred to death as a car running on CNG caught fire after a collision with a mini-truck and a motorcycle in southwest Delhi, police said Saturday.

The Wagon-R caught fire late Friday in Mahipalpur area. All the passengers of the car were killed. The identity of only one person has been ascertained so far.

“One of the deceased is Pawan Kumar from Mahendragarh in Haryana. We are trying to ascertain the cause of the accident and the identity of the other two,” a police official said.
