Patna court to hear case against Raj Thackeray
Saturday, November 08, 2008 17:52 [IST]
Patna: A local court today fixed November 14 for hearing a petition seeking initiation of criminal proceedings against MNS Chief Raj Thackeray for the assault on railway job aspirants from north-India on Oct 19 in Mumbai.

The matter was listed for today but could not be taken after which the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Patna decided that it would now be heard on November 14.

An advocate Keshav Kumar Sinha had on October 23 filed a complaint case against Raj and MNS spokesperson Shirish Parkar charging them with criminal conspiracy, attempt to murder and culpable homicide.

An examinee, Pawan Kumar of Nalanda district, was allegedly killed in Mumbai by MNS activists where he had gone to appear in railway recruitment board examination.
