Kota: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) would field five candidates from the Haduati region in the forthcoming assembly election.
"The NCP has decided to contest five assembly constituencies in Hadauti region including three from Kota district," NCP s district president,Ramavatar Joshi said here today.
Assembly elections in Rajasthan are scheduled on December 4.
Meanwhile, the state organising secretary of the Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha Rajendra Shrama has demanded adequate representation to Brahmin candidates in the states from both Congress and BJP. In case his demand was not conceded, Mahasabha would field its own candidates,Sharma said.
Similar demand has also been raised by Akhil Bhartiya Kayastha Mahasabha to allot 10 per cent seats to its community in the forthcoming assembly elections. Source : PTI
