11 Russians on ship hijacked by Somalia pirates

Nairobi: According to specified reports, there are 11 Russians on the recently hijacked ship by Somalia pirates, the Internet publication Sovfracht Maritime Bulletin reported yesterday.

The dry cargo ship belonging to a Danish company was attacked by bandits on Friday. Nobody was hurt during the attack. All the crew members are alive and in good health.

The vessel - the CEC FUTURE, was en route from Rotterdam to Batam (Indonesia) with a load of metal. Eleven out of the ship's 13 crew are Russian citizens.
