Raipur: Chhattisgarh's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), locked in a straight electoral battle with the Congress, has made Congress leader Margaret Alva's outburst against her party a part of its election advertisement campaign.
BJP advertisements in leading dailies here Sunday says: "Wo chunawi ticket bechte hai, ham garibo ko sasta chawal (They sell election ticket, we sell rice to poor cheap.)".
The BJP advertisement is a reference to Congress general secretary Alva's allegation that the Congress picked candidates in the Karnataka assembly elections in exchange for money.
