ACB lodges case against clerk

Nashik: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have today filed a case against a clerk working in the state Land Records Office for owning several illegal properties worth about Rs 6,70,790,ACB sources said.

ACB officials registered a case against Gupchand Govind Jagtap, currently working at Shindkheda in Dhule district, for amassing illegal properties in the name of his family members and himself between December 1996 to July 2007, sources said.

The officials, acting on a tip off, carried out a thorough check of Jagtap's properties and registered a case against him.
