Bhopal: An unidentified beheaded body was found this morning near a Shiv Hanuman temple under construction under Habibganj police station area of the city.

It has triggered the suspicion of human sacrifice. Bhopal Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad said that it was too too early to say whether this was a case of human sacrifice.

"No puja material was recovered from the site," he remarked.

He said that initially it appeared that it was a murder and added that a tattoo on the body read as Sahu.

"We are trying hard to indentify the body whose head was chopped off and it was found 20 foot away", the SP said.

Prasad said that some sharp-edged weapon was used in the beheading. Further investigations into the matter was on.

The police said that human sacrifices won't be made in Shiv Hanuman temple.
