Kathmandu: Thousands of devotees, including those from India, are flocking a remote jungle in southeast Nepal to catch a glimpse of an 18-year-old boy, who some believe is an incarnation of Lord Buddha.

Devotees from Bihar and UP are among those who are queueing to seek blessings from "Buddha boy" Ram Bahadur Bamjan, who has re-appeared recently in the the Holkoriya forest of Bara district bordering India after over an year.

Bamjan, who claims to have meditated for months without consuming food and water, reappeared last week to meet his followers and devotees. He intends to return back to meditation after this outing.

Almost 10,000 devotees have visited the "Buddha boy" since he reappeared last week, local media said.
