Lucknow: An active member of notorious Thokia gang has been arrested following an encounter in Banda district, police said today. Bharat Kurmi was arrested during the combing operations yesterday, Brij Lal, ADG (law and order), said today. A 12 bore country-made gun and some cartridges have been recovered from his possession, the ADG added.
