Chandigarh: Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal, today urged the people of the state to directly report any instance of demanding money in the state treasuries for clearance of bills to him.
In a statement issued here today, the Minister said that the Principal Secretary Finance, Director Treasuries, Additional Director Treasuries, Deputy Director of the department could also be contacted.
He has exhorted the officers to adopt a people-friendly approach with a sole aim to serve the people with utmost humility and missionary zeal.
He emphasized that the underlying objective of SAD-BJP Government was also in line with the principle "to serve the people not rule over them".
