Jaipur: Twenty one candidates today pulled out of the fray on the first day of withdrawal of nomination papers for the December 4 assembly polls in Rajasthan, an official spokesman said today.

The report of withdrawal of nomination from other constituencies was being compiled and would be finalised later tonight, he said.

After rejection of nominations of 393 candidates yesterday, altogether 2,796 candidates are in the fray before the closing of withdrawal of papers tomorrow, he said.
