2 bodies found near Delhi Metro construction site
Thursday, November 20, 2008 13:49 [IST]

New Delhi: Two unidentified bodies were today found near a Delhi Metro construction site in the national capital, police said. The bodies were discovered near the construction site of Delhi Metro in Nangloi this morning, they said.

It was not immediately clear how the bodies surfaced near the construction site. A senior police officer said a case has been registered and investigations were on.

Delhi Metro spokesperson Anuj Dayal said prima facie it seems that they were killed somewhere else and the bodies were kept at the construction site.

"We have cross checked. The bodies do not belong to any labourers of the contractors or any Metro employee," Dayal said.
