JK trade union Congress chief resigns

Jammu: The working president of the JK Trade Union Congress today resigned and joined Jammu State Morcha (JSM) which advocates statehood for Jammu region.

"I have resigned as the working president of JK Trade Union Congress and joined JSM for contesting elections in Jammu over the slogan of separate statehood for Jammu", Working President of the JKTUC Swaran Singh told reporters here.

He alleged that the Congress has done little for Jammu which is still being discriminated against.
