Jabalpur: An anonymous phone call claiming that a bomb has been planted in a private school today caused panic, before it turned out to be a hoax.
Around 1140 hours the police control room received an anonymous call that a bomb has been planted in Guru Govind Singh Khalsa School near Civic Centre locality under Omti Police station area.
The police got the school evacuated. Sniffer dogs and bomb detecting equipment searched the school but could not find anything, police said.
Omti Police Station House Officer Akhil Verma, said the call was hoax, adding that they are making bids to indentify the place from where the phone call was made.
