Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will attend the cremation of former Prime Minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh at Allahabad tomorrow.

Expressing deep grief on the demise of V P Singh, Kumar said, "Singh's death was a personal loss for me as I had the opportunity to work with him. Singh will be remembered in the history for his contributions towards the emancipation of downtrodden" .

The state government had yesterday announced a three-day state mourning and public holiday tomorrow as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
