Fifteen killed in China colliery blast

Harbin: Fifteen miners were killed in a coal mine explosion Sunday in northeast China, rescuers said Monday.

They said all the 15 bodies have been recovered from the mine in Heilongjiang province.

The explosion occurred Sunday when 25 people were working in the coal mine. Ten of them managed to escape, and 15 were trapped underground.

The cause of the blast was under investigation, officials said.
