Karimnagar (AP): Two Maoists have been arrested at Huzurabad in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh, police said today.

K Indrasen (38) and S Ravinder (35) were arrested during a routine vehicle checking at Huzurabad town yesterday when they were found moving suspiciously, Huzurabad Deputy Superintendent of Police Y Nageswara Rao told reporters. The duo, residents of different villages in the district, gave shelter to Maoists and were instrumental in handing over extortion money of Rs 5.90 lakh to the ultras.
