New Delhi: Maharashtra Governor S C Jamir today met President Pratibha Patil here in the wake of terror attacks in Mumbai.
The meeting comes a day after Patil visited Mumbai and met those injured and the next of kin of some of the victims in the terror attacks.
"It was a courtesy call," official sources said.
Jamir's call on the President also comes at a time when Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has offered to resign from his post and his deputy R R Patil has already put in his papers owning responsibility for security lapses.
The Governor had met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi yesterday.
