10 percent voting in first two hours in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Ten per cent of 3.62 crore voters exercised their franchise in the Rajasthan Assembly elections in the first two-and-a-half hours of polling today.

Barring a few disruptions in EVMs in civil lines area here and in Jodhpur city, the polling is undergoing smoothly, an official spokesman said.

Voters cast their ballot amid unprecedented security cover in all 42,212 polling booths set up for election of 200 MLAs from among 2194 candidates, the spokesman said.
