Kochi: The RSS today asked people, especially those living along the coastal areas, to remain vigilant in the light of the fact that terrorists who struck Mumbai had reached the city by sea.
Speaking at the Deshabhaktha Sangamam and Sradhanjali organised by the RSS here, its All India General Secretary Mohan Bhagavath said people should be vigilant and expose those who challenge the nation s unity and sovereignty.
Lauding the role played by the NSG, military and police, to wipe out the terrorists, Bhagavath said people have not been shaken by the dastardly act of the terrorists.
Stating that it was was not just the duty of the security personnel to guard the nation, he said people should also lend a helping hand to them.
Bhagavath said that people should ensure that political leaders who come to power do not exploit regional differences and sentiments, but work for the unity of the country.
