New Delhi: Israeli Ambassador Mark Sofer called on leader of Opposition L K Advani and pledged the support of his nation to India in its fight against terror.

During his meeting with Advani last evening, Sofer expressed his deep concern over the Mumbai terror attacks.

"Advani has conveyed the party s condolences to the dear ones of the Jews killed in the terror attacks. The ambassador expressed his support to India in its war against terror," party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said today.

On Wednesday, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met Advani and discussed the issue.
