Moga: The prime suspect in the murder of a 16-year-old student of a local school was arrested here, police said today.
Gurvinder Singh, a friend of deceased Gurlagan Singh, was arrested yesterday, district police chief Ashok Baath said.
Police has also recovered the weapon used in the crime by Gurvinder from a dump yard behind a marriage palace on G T road.
The other accused in the case, Harmandeep Singh, has already been sent to a juvenile home at Faridkot on December three.
Gurlagan along with another friend had gone to Gurvinder s residence on November 2,where the latter allegedly fired gunshots at him following a scuffle between them.
All the three were students of local D N Model High School.
