Suspension of chief pharmacist recommended

Sitapur: The Chief Medical Officer today recommended suspension of chief pharmacist of the district hospital for his alleged involvement in selling medicines in the market.

The CMO recommended suspension of the chief pharmacist after a consignment of medicines worth over a lakh of rupees was today seized by police while it was being taken from the hospital, sources said.

"I have constitued a committee to look into the matter besides recommending suspension," said CMO Dr Sunil Kumar Bharti.
