Politicians not to be blamed alone
Saturday, December 06, 2008 04:24 [IST]

Lucknow: Amid mounting public pressure against politicians in the aftermath of Mumbai terror attacks, Congress leader Digvijay Singh today said that they should not be blamed alone for the situation.

"Politicians are integral part of the democracy. There might be some shortcoming in them...but they should not be held responsible for the situation alone," Digvijay Singh told reporters in reply to a question.

"Every section of society, including bureaucrats, intelligence agencies and armed forces, should be taken into consideration. Fingers should not be pointed at politicians only," he said.
