PM arrives at WB

Kolkata: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today arrived at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport on a two-day visit to West Bengal. He was received by Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi and Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee.

Singh left soon by helicopter for Santiniketan to attend the convocation at Viswabharati, of which he is the Acharya (chancellor). He will return to the city tonight and will visit Malda tomorrow before returning to Delhi.
