Fake entry by a cadet in IMA a rare case
Saturday, December 13, 2008 11:17 [IST]

Dehradun: Indian Military Academy Commandant Lt Gen Rajendra Singh Sujlana today said that the recent case of entry by a cadet into the academy on the basis of forged documents was a rare case and it would be ensured that no such incident is repeated.

Speaking on the eve of the passing out parade at the IMA, Sujlana said the allegations made by Deepak alias Sanjeev that earlier he was harassed by officers here are baseless. He had gone missing from the academy without any prior information, he said.

The IMA expelled him when he did not mend his ways despite several warnings, he added.

Sujlana said police and investigating agencies were probing into the matter.

On a question related to special training at IMA in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks, the Commandant said the cadets are already given all kinds of training.
