New SSP for Ranchi

Ranchi: Sampat Meena has taken over as the Senior Superintendent of Police of Ranchi, official sources said here today.

The 1994 batch IPS officer has taken over charge from M S Bhatia, who has been promoted as Deputy Inspector General of Police and posted to Hazaribag.

Meena was earlier the Superintenent of Police at Pakur.
