Lucknow: Showing solidarity with the bereaved family of the slain PWD engineer MK Gupta in Auraiya, the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee today called for a total support to the statewide bandh call given by the Samajwadi Party.
Congress spokesman Ram Kumar Bhargav told PTI that the UPCC chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi condemned the incident and asked the partymen to extend a moral support to the SP's call for bandh over the death of the PWD engineer.
