MUMBAI: Will captured terrorist Ajmal Kasab going live on television be a bigger hit than Bushs Baghdad shoe attack? A DNA report on the possibility of the Indian government broadcasting a televised confession of Kasab has sparked off a debate on
Pakistans defence internet forums.
Reactions to the news report, published on
www.dnaindia.com, were mostly pro-Pakistan. "Pakistan government has received no proof or evidence, according to the Interpol. I hope they show him live, it will be a better hit than the shoe-throwing incident", said a post on a Pakistani defence web discussion forum.
"He will read from what has been provided to him, we only have to guess who has written the text, pernab muker jee? Or some 1 else?"(sic) said another post.
The forums also had a few comments from Indians. "Even if a person who has been caught on camera gunning down innocent people admits to his crime, writes a letter and all that sort of rot, its not taken as proof?", one post read.
"?What is that you gonna declare as clean and clear evidence? Maybe that could help clear stuff a bit here..." the same post added.
