Varanasi: Two persons were arrested with 12,000 litre spirit meant for making liquor here, police said.

They were arrested during the on-going vehicle checking at Badagaon and have been identified as Aujar of Harayana and Nawal Kishore of Bihar.

The duo admitted that the spirit was being taken to Bihar from here to make wine, the police added.
