Man shot at, robbed of Rs 3 lakh in Noida

Noida: A man was today shot at and Rs 3 lakhs robbed from him, police said.

According to police, Mahesh Kumar and Rajender Varma, employed with Mother Dairy, were going to a bank, with a bag containing Rs 3 lakh in cash, on a motor cycle when a car hit their bike from behind and fired a shot which hit Rajendra.

The occupants of the car then snatched the bag and flew from the spot, police said adding they abandoned the car at a distance.

A case has been registered and a hunt launched to nab the culprits, police added.

Meanwhile, condition of Rajendra was stated to be critical.
