Baby Moshe's grandparents in Mumbai to pray
Thursday, December 25, 2008 18:06 [IST]

Mumbai: Grandparents of Moshe Holtzberg, the two-year-old son of Rabbi Gabriel Holtzberg and Rivika, killed during the three-day terror siege in Mumbai last month, arrived here on Thursday and would be conducting special prayers on the occasion of Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights.

Dov Goldberg, who has now taken charge of Nariman House, the building in south Mumbai's Colaba area where the terror encounter took place, along with few others have also arrived.

Moshe was saved by his 44-year-old nanny Sandra Samuel after terrorists stormed into Nariman House and killed all the occupants, including his parents. The nanny accompanied Moshe with his grandparents and bodies of his parents to Israel.

Prayers in memory of the victims will be conducted at Gateway of India in the evening on Thursday.
