Aurangabad: A 15-year-old boy died on the spot after he was administered Penicillin injection by a doctor couple without prior test in Kej town of Beed district here, police said.
The couple identified as Ranjit Goodbhali and Pradnya are absconding since the incident, they said. The boy Santosh Dadarao Chaure was admitted to the hospital run by the couple, yesterday. Goodbhali directed his wife to administer Penicillin injection to the boy without conducting pre anti-biotic test on him, who after sometime of giving injection, died in the hospital due to reaction, they added. Panicked over the incident, the doctor couple absconded from the hospital, they said. Police have registered a case of accidental death.
