Pune: Reacting to comments in media about his absence during Mumbai terror attacks, Maharasahtra Navnriman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray today said he would take on his detractors in January.
Thackeray, who inaugurated a credit society here, said he would be holding public meetings from January onwards and come out with his response to his critics on all aspects. He said the ban on his speech was imposed by the state government and not by court. "I am already facing some 80 cases filed against me. It does not matter if the number goes up to 85", he added.
Thackeray said people should be vigilant about all kinds of elements in their neighbourhood to reduce vulnerability to terrorist designs. If this was not done, it would not be long before Pune, Thane and Nasik too become the targets of terrorists, the MNS leader added.

Last time he agitated and kept the forces on there toes to save the common man the result was 26/11. Today everyone is accusing Politicians/Authorities for there lapse.<br />
But we are forgetting to thank Mr Raj for creating such lacuna's.<br />
If you go through the series of events you will know the truth.<br />
Raj thakre and his team kept on going around creating pandemonium across Maharashtra, the whole forces were focused on that. If there was a lapse that was on the part of the ruling government at center as well as state by not directing the local administration to take serious stands against gondas like Raj. Now the interesting part why they have not asked for a stern action???<br />
Because Raj like Bhinderwala is a creation of congress to cut the votes of Shiv Sena who actually is concerned for Maharashtrians. By creating Raj on one side they are weakening ShivSena on the other strengthening there Minority votes.<br />
God save us if he goes around in the same way forcing the authorities to go busy in tackling his devils dance.
