Three killed in road mishap

Bhopal: Three persons were killed and 40 others injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned near Uchehara in Satna district, police said today.

The incident happened yesterday on Maihar-Satna road when the driver lost control over the vehicle proceeding toward Satna, they said. The deceased includes the bus conductor, who was killed on the spot, police said adding the injured have been admitted to the district hospital. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced an assistance of Rs 50,000 to the kin of the dead and Rs 5,000 to the injured.
