Pune: Security has been strengthened further at the city police commissionerate following a terror threat.

According to fresh inputs sent by Central intelligence agencies, the Pune Police commissionerate is on the hit-list of terrorists, Joint Commissioner of Police Rajendra Sonavane told reporters here today.

Sonavane said adequate security measures have been taken following the intelligence alert. High rise vigilance platforms manned by armed guards have been erected at the commissionerate.
