Islamabad: Indian High Commissioner Satyabrata Pal Friday met Pakistan Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir to discuss ways to defuse the growing tensions between the two countries in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks, media reports said.
Pal was recently in New Delhi for consultations with external affairs ministry officials on India's response following the Mumbai carnage.
