PDP leads in 10 seats in JK

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir appears headed for another hung Assembly with early trends in the counting of votes indicating a lead for the PDP.

The PDP, which shared power with Congress in the dissolved Assembly, was ahead in ten seats in Kashmir valley while the National Conference was leading in five.

The BJP appears to be doing well in the Jammu region leading in six seats.

The Congress was ahead in four seats and others in five.

Counting of votes in the seven-phased elections to 87 constituencies were taken up this morning.
