Dehra Dun: A six-year-old child was killed by a leopard at Kotdwar area of Pauri district in Uttaranchal, forest officials said here today.

Rajesh Bahukhandi had gone to nearby jungles yesterday where he was attacked by the beast and taken away.

After a long search, the half-eaten body of the child was found in the jungles.

In another incident, a leopard cub was found dead at Someshwar area of Almora yesterday. Forest officials have ruled out any foul play in the death of the cub.
