Chennai: Of the 177 poll promises contained in the DMK's manifesto for the 2006 Assembly polls, 125 have already been implemented, Tamil Naddu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi said here today.
Steps were being taken to implement the rest, Karunanidhi wrote in the party organ Murasoli .
The Chief Minister was reacting to the remarks of state CPI-M Secretary N Varadarajan that the DMK government had not implemented many of its poll promises including allotment of land to the poor.
