Wednesday, December 31, 2008 03:56 [IST]
Mumbai: Here comes the countrys costliest New Years Eve spread. The specially created seven-course Table dHotel menu, with wine pairing, is priced at Rs 25,000 per couple. It would be served at the Zodiac Grill restaurant of the iconic Taj.

As usual, Hemant Oberoi, grand master chef of The Taj Mahal Palace amp; Tower Hotel, has left no stone unturned to make the entire restaurant open to public.

And thats not all! Bowing to the wishes of regular patrons, the Poolside has been thrown open to non-resident guests for just this special night. You can indulge in a special al fresco Golden Dragon dinner buffet, with select bar, under the starry sky at Rs 5,950 per head, all-inclusive.

All the popular restaurants  Wasabi, Souk, The Starboard, Masala Kraft and Shamiana - will be offering exclusive cuisines for the guests to gorge on.

Hemant Oberoi said, "We are proud to announce that most of our restaurants have reopened. Our chefs have imaginatively brought back the menus of Golden Dragon and Wasabi, especially for you. Bring in the New Year with family and friends at any of these restaurants."

If you wish to unwind and share some memorable private moments, you can opt for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay-over package, comprising a one-night stay for two in a Taj Club Room or Suite, spa treatments at Jiva Spa, champagne breakfast and limousine transfers.

Taj Club Room will cost Rs 24,000 per night on single occupancy and Rs 25,500 on double occupancy. An Executive Suite is priced at Rs 40,000 for both single and double occupancy.
