Nashik: Three persons were killed and three others injured seriously when the car in which they were travelling collided with an unidentified vehicle at Devla-Phata near here, police said today.

The deceased identified as Faimy Malik (22), Yusuf Papa (31) and driver of the car Gopal (33), were returning from Malegaon when the incident took place yesterday, they said.

The injured have been admitted to a private hospital at Malegaon, they said.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on, police added.
